Welcome to ES Julie!!! sorry about your lost, may be a new puppy for Xmas? your Gordon must feel very alone now :-(
I'd love to have another, but my situation is different now :-( I just can't decide, have also considering adopting a slightly older dog rather than a puppy.. My gordon does miss her, but she is ok, she just has to play with me now!!! :-)
