Thank you for the welcome and the comment about my girl. I think she is absolutely gorgeous but I might just be a little bit partial. I wonder why you just don't see this breed as often? At least you don't in my area. I live in Western KY.
Oh, we're all biased on here, it's expected and completely accepted! lol You're not too far from me, I'm about 3hrs from Cincinnati, East Central Ohio. (East and slightly north of Columbus)
There was an explosion of IS's in the '70's, everyone has either had one or knew of someone that had one but there're not many in my area either. One theory is that they were over-bred and developed bad traits, ie hyperactivity, or else the owner just didn't know what he was getting himself into with the energy level of the beautiful setter....so they seemed to have gotten a bad reputation....
