Show dogs Working

I just have to write and say how proud I am of Saffy (Kirkavagh Darara At Mayfred), she went on her first training day (for working dogs) yesterday, I have posted some pictures on my page, she did as they say 'took to it like a duck to water' a wee bit too enthusiastic for the quail in a cage, but she will learn, it was interesting to see her casting the field that just came naturally. I think that everyone there was pleasantly surprised at a 'pure' show dog doing what came naturally. I must say though that Jas has no interest in 'that kind of thing' and when Saffy is better I will be taking her back for more training. I think we both loved it as much as each other.
And a very big thank you to Nicole for the pictures, they will always be some of my favourites.

It is a true joy to watch a dog doing what they were ment to do. I can understand how happy and proud you must be. Photos are great as well.

Hi Dee, I also took my two 'Show dogs" to a training day a couple of weeks ago, and had the same reaction as you. My dogs and I all loved it! Your pictures are great! I actually brought my camera, but got too involved to remember to take pictures!! Joan -
