Well, my weel of doggie missfortunes continues!
Yesterday Pitanga was not herself, not interested in running around or playing with her friends. Took her temperatura and she had a fever, and as I moved her tail, she yelped in pain, so it was X-ray time.
The x-ray revealed an image that is typical of a disc infection, that is very very painful. She has started her antibiotics and is on very powerful painkillers, just to keep her able to go outside to pee and poo with a minimum confort. She is still in a lot of pain, does not want to eat or move and needs to be resting at least for the next month.
It's heartbreaking to look at her like this, but the treatment should make her better, and in a couple of days most of the pain should be gone for good. Then will come the hard part, wich is keeping her quiet after the pain is gone, to make sure her spine heals properly and there will be no more complications from this problem.
I just hope she fully recovers and that the pain will be gone soon, I really hate looking at my girl in pain... =(
So sorry to hear this Teresa your poor girls hope she gets better soon
Dear Pitanga. It is now your turn to be looked after. Hope you get well soon

Hope she's better soon, i know how hard it is trying to keep them quite (",)
A very swift recovery beautiful Pitanga, and agree with you Teresa, the most horrible part is to look at her being in pain ... so very sorry for both of you
