Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
Dear all: we just had a good outcome regarding the post below! We had the results of the biopsy and the spot was benign: no one single abnormal cell was visible !!! I am so glad we removed it and did the test: now we know it was nothing nasty and is not going to come back again :))) A simple growing pigment, in the end!
Oberon doesnt quite understand why we are all so happy and smiling, i think he just decided that he's going to be happy and smiling as well becase we are :)
Thanks all for the support !

Dear all
and now I am just adding a new topic- unfortunately not quite nice- and asking once again for information and support from this wonderful forum..
Few months ago I spotted a tiny black spot in the Oberon'e eye, in the white cornea. The eye specialist said it was just pigmentation and nothing to worry about. Now, a couple of months later, the area of the spot is double (still small but, i mean, it has CHANGED!) and i am quite worry.. I am keeping a diary with photos and then I plan to take all back to the vet, but: has any of you experience with this? I am wondering it may be a melanoma? What is the action? thanks a lot for any info.. cheers

So pleased to hear Oberon is doing well. A complete analysis will at least give you the answer.
indeed, Sue: we opted for peace of mind in the end! (otherwise I would have found myself looking at that spot every day and wondering if it has changed or not - going mad ! ;) thanks !!!
That is indeed good news, Silvia! I'm very happy for you - it must be a real relief! Give Oberon a nice big chewy :-). Joy sends kisses xxx
Thanks a lot Cornelia!! Yes, we celebrate today !! :)) kisses to Joy as well!
That's great...relief all round. Steo sends love to bro. :)
