Cedric (Vermilions Beside the Point) [07/11/2002 – 05/05/2014]

It never ceases to amaze the unbridled joy dogs can bring to your life and then the unspeakable grief when they leave it.

Thanks for all the great memories, Ced.  You were such a fighter through all of your health issues, but it was finally your time.

When you get to ‘the rainbow bridge’, find Chelsea, Mollie, Chelsea Jr, Dublin, Killian, and Orion for me.  Tell them that I love them and to wait for me.   I miss each of you…

Gene I am so sorry for the loss of your Ced.....we never have enough time with our loved dogs. I do believe though that all those paw prints in our hearts stay with us always and perhaps remind us what un conditional  love truly is all about. May the shamrock fall softly on Red and your treasured memories bring you comfort.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.  It is great to connect with people who know what it is like since I am sure each of you have been there before.

You have written lovely words Gene at a time when it's all so hard. I imagine the joy on the faces of your past ones when one day you meet them at "rainbow bridge"
. Your Ced has he's angel wings. Take care

Dear Gene, I am sincerely very saddened to read that you have lost your most beloved Ced. I have to agree wholeheartedly with you about the unspeakable grief you suffer when "their time" comes. Unfortunately the deeper you love them, the deeper the pain you suffer in your grief. Not that it makes my life any easier in any way, I do believe that one day we will all be together again. Love from Susan and her English Setters, Hobson and Misty xxxxxxx
