Time marches on and the cycle of life completes with another loved one.

Miles, you blessed my life in so many different ways. You were a fantastic companion.

You are greatly missed already. It won't be the same without you.

When you get to 'the bridge', find your cousin Cedric and have him introduce you to your extended brothers and sisters. Tell everyone I love them.

It never ceases to amaze the unbridled joy dogs can bring to your life and then the unspeakable grief when they leave it.

Thanks for all the great memories, Ced.  You were such a fighter through all of your health issues, but it was finally your time.

When you get to ‘the rainbow bridge’, find Chelsea, Mollie, Chelsea Jr, Dublin, Killian, and Orion for me.  Tell them that I love them and to wait for me.   I miss each of you…

Here's a cover of a magazine that I came across while cleaning today. I remember when I bought it being excited because you don't see them (Setters as cover dogs) that often, at least in the states. Any others out there?

As I mentioned in my Week 3 update, Alissa and I ran the first and third legs of today’s Texas-to-Tennessee Setter rescue transport (with Carol Johnson picking up the second leg) for Save Our Setters (www.saveoursetters.org). The trip covered 521 miles (838 km). Our special passengers were Tommy, Aaron, Gulliver, Toby and Georgia Girl.
