*Freya (Soulglas.....) Keelys litter sister, Frome Erins first litter.

Our Freya is coming home after things have taken a turn for the worst in her 8 yr old life She belonged to a nice lady who owned 3 setters and i dont know the where abouts of the other two.I found out a few months ago that she had died of cancer. This happened very quickly and the dogs were rehomed together i thought l. But it seemed not.So the others i dont know where they are. But im anxious now for my girl who has hip dysplasia.

I dont know at the moment much about her only that she had been living on a farm and had been walked far to much hense this happened. She also has a skin condition. Im now hoping once i get her here i can see for myself how bad she is and decide her fate..If she is well enough to be rehomed im looking for someone close in my area who would continue to lease with me on how best to keep her going...At present once i get her here i will have to house her outside and she really needs warmth..,.

Freya has settled in well and she is in the house during the day and sleeps out at night with the others. She has beed feeding and exersizing ok . Its not all doom and gloom.. Her gait seems to be ok and the possible sign of hd is not showing to the naked eye.The skin condition isnt to bad sores on her saddle but not the belly area. She doesnt scratch which is good. Mum and sisters have given her plenty of affection and shes a lot better than i ever expected.I will of course need to get her a home but as the days go by i get to know her better and will know when the right person comes along and can help..

Freya has settled down great. I need not have worried about her .. Erin is such a good mum and Keely is of course delighted with her presence. Willow is also enjoying having a older sister around.. Her Gait is definatley ok and it hasnt altered so not having to stress over that. It certainly wasnt the impression i was given when i got her.
The pimply things on her back havent gone but are not getting worse. I just hope given time they may go..Im thinking they may even be stress that caused them.. Though if it was hay or anything farm related she could improve. I will get her to the vets but i dont want to rush in until ive given time .At present the snow doesnt help.
