Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
twelve days ago we saw what we thought to be a tick on laylas outer ear.not been able to remove it we took her to the vets to be told she had mast cell tumours.(she had 2 small warts and 2 little lumps beside the "tick" ).it didnt sound good and we had to go home and decide what we wanted to do it was such a shock and .reading about this made me scared but i couldnt cope with seeing the bloody thing on her ear.oh tears flowed the whole weekend but we made the decision to have them removed .my poor girl looked like a patchwork quilt .
twelve agonising days on waiting for histology results to come and weve had the best news ever.they are all different lumps but they are all benign .whooppeee im the happiest person in the world right now . laylas had all her stitches removed today and ben given the all clear . . looking forward to taking her back in the caravan in 5 weeks for 2 months .
cant believe how much worry ect can come from a tick like bubble
Wonderful news Lyn and congratulations for taking the right decision, as hard as it was to decide the best course of action, you could have never live in peace if you hadn't let the vet remove it. Plenty of cuddles to Princess Leila who is always very special to me, not my girl I know that too well but such a very special and wonderful Lady!!! Have a terrific time on holiday together ... waiting for the pictures here :-)
so pleased for you Lyn it was good news, you can enjoy your break away with Layla now
