My Darling Balou (C.I.E. LT CH BaltW-08 Kanelin Make The Cut) turned 5 years on Aug 22nd. That also meant that our co-owning ended and he retired from the showrings as I let go of my ownership of him.

Thanks for Teija Parkko at Kennel Kanelin for this amazing dog! Thanks for Tanja Raikkerus for always taking such a good care of him.

You only get this kind of a dog once in a lifetime...

Agree totally with the Lauwers' family, Balou is not even old enough to be shown as a veteran, so there are plenty of time for him to retire ... that is if he likes to be shown of course!!!

Balou loves showing but at the same time we have been touring the rings quite much in his lifetime. I'm sure I can still take him for example abroad some time or mayde to the veteran ring one day. In Finland there isn't that much to accomplish anymore as we've seen so many rings. I'll never forget how it feels to be with him in the BIS ring. What a rush of excitement!

I'm happy that he can relax now and spend more time in the countryside and get his coat messed up :) I'm sure he'll enjoy that even more. But I'll be missing our moments so much. It's sad that co-ownerships usually can't last forever.
