Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
hi for the first time in34 years i have no setters, missing them very much hope to rescue a setter in 2016. from sandra penny barnellin
Hi Sandra, it is so nice to hear from you, yet I feel your sorrow under the circumstances. Romeo came into our lives at five years old on transfer after retirement from showing. It was a seamless transition and has been a wonderful experience. So if there are none to rescue, maybe you could explore that option. We send our sincerest thoughts and best wishes that something will work out for you in this regard. You must have a lot of stories to tell after 34 years in setterland.....maybe you would like to share them with us while you wait for the next one to come into your life!
Hi Sandra.
Good to see you on the site, but sorry you have no setters at the present time. We've finally given in and got another puppy to show hopefully, but she will be the last pup. We still have 3 boys, but none in the ring for about 4 years now. I remember being benched close to you and chatting, many times :) Happy days!
I wish you well with the quest for a rescue in 2016. Sue (Bluestack)
I know for us the year and a half without an Irish
managing our home was just too dull and quiet. Finally
convinced Alan to let me find a purse puppy to rescue
but none really said we belong together to me...even
though they were cute....two months later there was our
Molly on tv looking for a home in an area that Irish
Setters are rare! Molly truly rescued us and healed our
hearts. I hope you soon find your special Setter.
