NZ CH SILMANHURST ADOLPHUS (Aka Danny, Jo's best friend)

I am thrilled to say that the love of my life gained his champion title on Sunday at the NZKC Championship show in Auckland. The judge was Mr Graham Saltiel from New Zealand. Danny was my introduction to the breed and despite being a very English line looking boy we persisted and our work has paid off for us. Thankfully we have had some wonderful judges this year such as Rui Oliveira, Anna Spanswick and finally Graham who recognised his nice qualities.
NZ CH Amhurst Borrowed Heaven (Kerry) took the bitch CC and Best Of Breed and sister Solasdas Copper Ruse (Tara) took the Reserve Bitch CC, Danny took the Dog CC and Reserve Of Breed managing to seperate the two sisters for the first time which was a lovely way for him to finish his title. Thanks very much to Myra and Marie and Lorraine from the Strabahn kennels here in NZ who encouraged me to continue campaigning him and have been a great support since I started showing.
A super day was topped off when the honourary Irish Setter (Brooke) the English Pointer showed her little heart out and was awarded baby puppy in the gundog group.
