Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
Hi Anna, I think a mistake has only been made about Rozmaryn looking like a girl. He definitely looks like a male and he is wearing a tie. They look so cute dressed up and wearing party hats.
I used to have a FB page only to find my stolen English Setter, Beau. My FB page did not help in any way. I used to listen to the advice of other people who were well-meaning. I make up my own mind now. I am in no rush to set up another FB page. I visit ES when I can. It is nice to catch up with those members who have always been supportive of me and who cared about my English Setters, Beau, Hobson, Rose, Hammer, Annie and Misty, and not forgetting my English Setters, Jessie and Bandit and my Longhaired Dachshund, Benmore, and my horses too. Please give your 3 red "kids" some hugs from Misty and I. xxxx
Hi there Anna, I just wanted to say the same: It isn't his looks that made me think of a girl in the first place (even not seeing the tie!), but the name, which is in some countries a female name and certainly sounds like one. He's a fine looking boy otherwise!
Ha, ha, ha... Everything's clear! It's language problem, I have made the same mistake with Susan Stone's male Suomi beacause in Polish Suomi = Finlandia (femininum).
I'm absolutely sure Rosmaryno is a realy male - I gave him a collar with rose roses!
:-)) It happened to me also with Laura's late Odin - I thought it was a male! I'm sure Suomi makes quite an impression with the collar on the females :-))
