Can anyone tell me in simple terms how to put new photos on my page now that I have a Mac please.

you have to open "Photos", in the corner there is "+Add", click on it. Then you will have opened a page with "Click to add Photos" - click on it and find photos in your computer, open it. If you want to add few photos, there is "+Add More", if only one photo "Upload" and later you can make a title and description for photo(s) and "save" them.

There is also a way to add photos by email or from your phone, but I didn't use it yet
