Request for help - I am searching for a placement with a vet for work experience

Dear Members

For a change this blog is not about my setter-girls, it is about myself...

During my studies to become a vet I must spend 4 months working in a veterinary clinic, a veterinary surgeon, animal sanctuary or similar.

I'd like to combine this work experience with a stay in an english speaking country to impove my english language knowledge. Any english speaking country will do!

I wonder if any member from ES can help me to find this type of placement? Maybe you know of a friendly vet or clinic that may be willing to offer me 'hands-on' experience which I need to complete my studies?

Time scale is roughly May - August 2011. My favourite would be small animal husbandry but I am open for all kinds of fields.

Hi Carmen, I work in a small animal veterinary practice as a receptionist. We have three male vets all partners of the practice and one lady vet (not a partner) I will make enquiries for you, I cannot promise anything, but I will ask.I have finished work now for the Easter holiday and return on Wednesday 7th April.
