Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Today, exactly three years ago, I moved in with my new tin openers. We did not go home, but straight to the old house and garden in Ticino, South Switzerland. Some of you might stil remember this photo:

Or maybe the photo of me in the kindergarden:

Now life with the Hahn's is hard - definitely:

No - on a more serious side, it is full of work! Here I'm inspecting their new tent and check if they have set it up properly - I'm supposed to live there too you know!

I my opinion, a decent house should come with a pool - but I'm careful with that one - they might try to give me a bath (!) - so better check the water temperature first!

In the afternoon I see what the other inhabitants of our property are doing - what do you mean: 'Who are you?' - I'm One Delightful Bundle of Joy :-)).

Oh no!!! Don't go inside the house!!! May I introduce: One female lacerta viridis or Emerald Lizard:

In the evening I express with my whole being that life is beautiful and that I own the best stick there is :-)).

I meditate upon and visualize the doings of my future:

And pose for a portrait in the evening light:

Now just in case you wondered what the title and the first photo was all about: This is me very well behaved!! I am here in a nature reserve, smiling at some people who passed by and am wagging my tail without getting up!! I even surprised her the other day by laying down as soon as she put her backpack on the ground to take her camera out - and when she found this beautiful orchid, a red helleborine, surprised by joy/Joy became a double meaning:
