YE GODS !!!!!! THIS SPIDER LANDED ON ME !!!!!!!

Believe it or not, this spider is actually quite harmless, but nevertheless, to suddenly feel it crawling over you, when quite comfy on the lounge, well !!!  I am very glad that I can move extremely fast, when the need arises!

Call your exterminator and spray everywhere 2X and then do it again next week. .  His right to exist ceases where my property line begins and definitely within 500 ft. of where I sleep.  I have a home in Mexico and I spray everywhere  often to keep such critters away and in the jungle where they are welcome to enjoy their lives-just  not anywhere near where I might want to sit or lay down or watch TV.  I welcome the geckos, birds, butterflies  in but the other crawlers/jumpers/droppers downers  will face extermination while I occupy the area---and I am a biology major.  I found a scorpion on my bedroom wall soon after I built the home and it was months before I could fall asleep in the room until I scowered the room for anything that could move in the night.  They have their right to exist-just not within the boundries of my living space.  That spider would have met his demise and I would have given him a celebratory burial ASAP  with no regrets or apologies.

Goodness, John - as scared as I was. it is just a poor defenceless spider!!!! We caught him in the container, and popped him back outside! Living in the hills of Perth, there are plenty more where he came from, so something we just get on with. The thought of one in the bedroom, crawling over us as we sleep, always doesn't bear thinking about, but they don't come in the house very often - fortunately!!

Igitt!! But think positively 2: The large spiders are usually not poisonous - the small ones are dangerous!!

Sorry Myra,
I see that spider and it definitely looks about 10X bigger than it really is and has a feature spot on some Sci-Fi movie and its after me and it comes down to him or me and I have the can of Raid and know how to use it!

Take a look at the second photo down - that is definitely a little face looking back at you, John, so fair enough to be a little concerned!!!! SOMETIMES, you see a female looking virtually identical to our friend here,, and then thousands of teeny weeny babies run off of her.  Imagine!!!!!!!!!!!

Myra,

I hope to sleep tonight and the images that you are conveying are beyond disgusting---thousands of teeny weeny babies!  I'm off to the store to buy more cans of really potent Raid!  Sigourney Weaver is in this film somewhere and I've got to get the cans to her before I can fall asleep!    And the big Mama-taser her for now and into space tomorrow never to return!  Bye bye!

And I'm changing all my sheets tonight before I get into bed and don't ever put any more pics like Arachnia again please!  Little red Irish setter pups loving their mums are so much easier on the eyes and soul and sleep!
