Welcome aboard. I think my boy who went out to sweden sired a litter in Iceland.
We also had a vet here in Western Australia who came from Iceland.
Long way from home!
Cheers,
Myra.
Great pictures, I have tried only once to work my youngest, but when she is fit again I will try again....is that bird stuffed???? it is very stupid. I made the mistake of letting Saffy chaise birds when she was young, so probably won't be able to work her properly....shame because she seems to be good at it. But when she has puppies I will try and rear my new dog the proper way....Well I will give it a go..
Speak soon Dee and the girls
Hello to Iceland !
Send regards to Bergthor if you meet him. The mating with Randi's Red Oks did not suceed, it was too early. But we have now mated Lohmann's Lawine with Lohmann's Klavinius and hope for puppies in april.
So now I know, where TRIX is hunting with;-)))
Please keep me informed about trials etc. in Iceland. Hope to see your island one day !
Oh yes I like the liquid variety of this bird ''the Famous Grouse'', (I do come from Scotland) but they just seem to be sitting there letting the dogs come so close, we had 'red eared Grouse' near to my last house and they would fly up when the dogs got close, they couldn't get anywhere near them. Well actually the dogs would trip over them...;0))
Thank you
Its okaii i am not so good at english my self
Lovely dogs you have
We have a red setter (bruce) and he has just turned 5 years old and we have a puppy too(lucy) she has just turned 6 months

I like so much your hunting photos! Expressive pointings and backings! Just wow!
Glad to hear from you. I haven't been on this site for quite awhile; but I'm always glad to hear from anyone interested in bird dogs and setters in particular!
Spent the past week-end in Grand Junction Tenn. Checked on the NRSFTC display and ran into some ran into some red dawg folks while there. Reply with some info. about yourself and your field dog activities.
I'll be lookin' for ya! RJS
Dear Gudjon,
Still love your photos! Can you tell me more about your grouses? They seem to be very interesting creatures, at least for us, who don't have them in our country. Strange that they let you go so close to take these pictures! You would hardly take these close pictures from pheasants here.
Bye, Petra
