Hi there Anna
Thanks for the comment on the picture of the two girls sitting on the settee, you can see why I would comment on the 'Setters on Settees' blog The two dogs on there are my Long gone Tammy and Jasmine, when she was a youngster, the settee is long gone too, My Akita ate it, so have got two more, but bigger, now that I have three setters I am going to need it....ha ha...Thanks again Dee and the gang

Hi there Anna
My Akitas are very long gone, I loved having them, and had them for a very long time, two of them left us at the wonderful age of 15 and then the body was good but the mind had gone. Such a shame..
But now with three Irish my house is now ''FULL'' and so are the settees, when the boy gets on his back and stretches out he takes up a whole one, well with Jas at the other end, curled up into a ball, the whole settee is filled. I share the other with Saffy. Your 'kids' look really comfortable on those settees that they are sharing with (I thought that wasn't a setter on one of those settees) ? an Airedale ?
All the best speak soon Dee and the gang

Hi Anna
thank you so much for your lovely words! The music on my video is from the old film "Miss Marple" from the 1960. with the marvellous Margaret Rutherford how has play the lead.
You can send me your E-Mail adress. so I send you the music by MP3! The band is "The Colourful Accordionists, I like it very much.

Yes, we are so happy to life in this wonderful part of Switzerland. Engadin is a mountain valley. Perhaps you have heard the "St. Moritz". We reside 20 km from there. Have a good time and best regards Esther and the red boys

Hi there Anna
I have had a few dogs in my time and they have 'gone' at different ages between 18 months and 151/2 years but they are all remembered with lots of love for what each of them has brought to my life. I miss them all. But truly believe that we will be together again, one day...;o))
As for being fierce only one of my Akitas was like that, and that was the puppy bitch she was an absolute horror. Her sisters owner always said of 'Zen' that she never started anything but always finished it..so true of all of them, but they didn't like many other animals, although I have to say she loved my chickens they tasted wonderful to her, especially after the 'hunt' of catching them..All the best and if you see my wee boy Newton give him a bit of a hug...Dee and the gang

Hi there Anna
Well I could tell you some stories of dogs and hens but not nice, luckily my dogs and my hens, so no insults only to myself.
Speak soon Dee and the gang

Thank you so much for your congratulations! It is great having friends out there in the virtual world who are thinking of you at such a special day.
Anna, thanks for you comment in camera corner. My daughter did the 2000m and 5000m together with the dogs and was German Champion at 5000 metres.
With our "first generation" setters we prefered to train long distance running rather than obedience lessons because they were absolutely reliable in the fields, woods ...
Today things have changed ... you know :-(

Cześć Anna! U nas prawdziwa zima, dużo śniegi i mróz.

Pozdrawiam
Ewa

Thanks Anna,
Jack and Ossie were 2 of the dearest Setter and brought us such joy. Ossie was with Jack from the time he was 8 weeks old and he passed away 2 days after Jack I really think his heart was broken like ours.M
