hi kenny!! simba is very talented, but you can help him! the first time, oberon was like him: the bottom down and the rear legs trying to reach the sand... If you gently put your hand down and show that the rear leg needs to be up they realise immediately that they can float and they realise the right movement.. oh, at least for oberon it worked :)

As you can see Silvia, he did not need any help he soon got the hang of it. I can't wait now to take him surfing with me, he will have more fun then ever on the beach now.

That is the first time I have ever seen a Setter swim voluntarily!  My previous Setter, Blue, had to have hydrotherapy and he hated it.  We called it his swimming lessons and he just splashed so much he had to have a floatation aid.  A lovely video and as you say, he will just love to go surfing. :)

Ha ha ive just played this video and my Setter Bailey leaped of the sofa wanted to know what all the noise and fuss was about!. He loved the water when we took him to the beach other week. Well done Simba!
