I thought (as we have so many experts in this field) we could start a thread giving each other hints on how to do it properly. Searching through old photos, I found this one of my son. So I would like to share this hint...make certain the handlers arms are long enough.
It is lovely to see an irish in free stand, but in perfect understanding with the handler. This must be done with love and devotion from both sides.I will never forget once seeing J.Bott handling the Turist at Cruft's,but there are judges that don't like this way. Some setters are so badly and not setterlike handled. Each breed needs another approach I thnk, but that's not easy.
