GOOD BOYS!

Posted on April 27, 2009 at 5:11pm 9 Comments

On Saturday, both my boys passed their Canine Good Citizen tests and can now add the letters CGC after their names. Minor brag, but they're such good boys I had to share!

Timmy the Hunter

Posted on March 22, 2009 at 7:40am 15 Comments

We did it! Timmy is now CH Captiva Gold Sovereign, JH. My very first hunt title : )
And he did it in style, scoring 9-9-9-8 to get his 4th pass and JH title, and then getting 10-10-9-9 for a bonus leg. 10's are the maximum given in any category, I'm so proud of him!!!!!!!

Hunting Brag

No JH to boast about yet. I have to wait until March for the next local hunt tests. But I took Timmy out in November to our very first hunt tests. (first for BOTH of us). We passed our first time out, and I was hooked... and came back the next weekend for 2 more!! I really wish I hadn't waited until the end of the season to try it....... but 3 out of 4 ain't bad!! All we need is one more pass.

It is a joy to see them in the field. Timmy has a… Continue

This Is my first ever blog post, but I just had to share -

On Sunday my "Timmy" became (AKC) CH Captiva Gold Sovereign.. at just 16mths.

He doesn't care... he says "What? Me finished?? No way.. I'm just starting!!!!" He has lots of things to try now.

He was bred by Jill Taylor and Caren McWeeney, (Ch Captiva McDerry Bellagio X Captiva McDerry Olympic Gold, JH).

You've all seen him grow up in pictures and video, but I'll post his finishing picture when I get it.… Continue

Hi Joan,
Finally managed to get Willow to sit still long enough to take her picture today - she had just finished "hiding" in her den (under our Willow tree) and decided to come out! I love puppies too! I could sit watching Willow for ages - she finds everything a wonder; be it trying to catch a fly or chasing the branches of the Willow tree as it moves in the wind??!! Is your Timmy the same?

I accidently erased you as a friend, can you please accept my plea for you to be my friend again. I made the same mistake that Ginger once did and was deleting friends before I realized what I was doing.
