Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Have you ever seen a Setter doing its business with the nose high up in the air, all the while moving slowly foreward to get a better view and scent? That's when I wished my camera had a video function - but I have no such thing and only my 200mm Macro lens with me. So I first cleaned up after Joy, walked back with her about 20 meters and leashed her to a tree, unpacked the camera with the lens and went back to the roebuck, that was still waiting for me to have its photo taken. I could have had Joy with me when taking the photo, the dear would not mind, but it does mind when I put my backpack down to take the camera out - probably afraid of the hunters!!

Thank you all - we've just come home and saw the offspring - we see the youngster quite often, but I could not (yet) take a photo. Sorry, Chantal, no video also in future time - I would have need of a new camera...

I've had another encounter lately - Kasia was very busy with the birds and didn't notice a roe deer that jumped out from behind the fence and run by me
