A friend and I were looking at these pictures we have a bet that your boy is by Concept???

Hi Dee,
he is actually by Bardonhill Bardolino by Anlory who is a Concept son, out of 15 pups the 2 that I kept have coats like this, it is unfortunate as he is a nice puppy and a very good mover, I can get it much much flatter with a lot of work and hopefully his adult coat will be much flatter, on the plus side it is very thick good quality hair , his 2 older sisters out of the same bitch, different sire are totally flat!!!!!

Well I was nearly rite, have you ever 'tamed' a curly coat before??? as you say it takes a lot of hard work...and perhaps he WILL start to get a flatter coat when it gets longer, but don't hold your breath....:D))))) Ha Ha!!!

I would not worry about coat(as Camilla said) untill he is an adult! Milo had a very wavy coat even at 8 months and now he has a very lovely flat coat!!

Kirsty, my Irish have thick wavy coats as puppies - once they go into the adult coats, the coat is flat and easily managed. Don't worry and just be patient!
He is a lovely puppy, by the way.
Cheers,
Myra.
