En effet beaucoup de problèmes avec le comité actuel du Red Club qui, entre autres choses, veut imposer sa vision du Setter Irlandais, celle d'un chien de chasse exclusivement. Partant de là, le Setter Irlandais doit avoir une conformation précise mais surtout une fourchette de taille précise qui est plus restrictive que celles du standard FCI. Mais attendons, il n'est pas du tout sûr que la SCC leur ait donné raison.

Our fist Irish (1975) was of Brackenfield/Hartsbourne/Vandamist lines. But my present dogs have a different background.
I'll be interested what comes of this size discussion in France and other countries...
