One at the moment, though will hopefully end up with another setter boy in the not too distant future. Reuben is 16 months old. We also have a Border Terrier, Buddy, and a whole host of chickens!
How long have you owned Irish Setters?
Owned one beautiful Irish Setter about 15 years ago, and am very happy to be a setter owner once again.
About Me:
I live with my partner Ben in the beautiful village of Cragg Vale. It's a gorgeous part of the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, with lots of perfect dog-walking countryside.
Welcome Claire!
Not having a setter yet, you could always add a few photos of the beautiful village of Cragg Vale!!! The name sounds so nice I'd love to see it:-))
I am sure that you will get a very nice dog, because as you say patience is a virtue, and it is good to wait for the 'rite' one to come to you...there are many puppies out there, and if you do your homework you will get the one for you....
All the best and good luck with your serch

Hi Claire, Just saw that you're new here. Welcome.
I'm sure you will enjoy it here even if you don't have a Setter of your own yet. That is something wonderful to look forward to.
Greetings from Melbourne Australia.

Hi Claire Thanks for message yes the time really passes quickly. I remember seeing Reuben on Marita's site where I saw Ching. She has settled in really well with the rest of the family and is being a typical Irish setter.
Happy new year and hope you have lots of fun with Reuben am sure you will they are such characters
