About Me:
Having admired the breed as a child I bought my first setter in 1978 and was totally hooked.Shane lived until he was 13 by which time I had moved from the town to the country and bought Ben ( Moriabank Mulberry) who enjoyed a very short show career as he hated being groomed. He was joined a year and a half later by Holly (Henthom Enchanting Angel) out of the one and only litter I had from these two I kept two bitches Edenaveys Shannon Belle (Shannon) and Edenaveys Miss Scarlet (Scarlet) both of whom enjoyed their 11th birthday on 15th May and are very much still part of our family. Shannon being the matriarch while Scarlet is happy playing the fool and getting into mischief. We also have Shannon's "husband" Connor (Lurgavon Connor) who will be 11 in September. Out of that mating we kept 2 dogs and 1 bitch Edenaveys Rogan's Fancy (Rogan) , Edenaveys March Brown (Harvey) and the little minx I enjoy Gillian and Stewart showing (Katie) Edenaveys Holly's Pride.

Thanks for your comments on my Holly! You certainly have alot of her lines in yours. My present boy those lines too. He is out of Country Belle of Wendover, Wendover Lorna's daughter. I had a very soft spot for Lorna and always wanted something from her line! Cassidy and Raffles are also in his pedigree along with many others!! So between us the Wendover flag is kept well and truly flying!!!! Your bitch must be very close to being made up at this stage.

Thanks Karen, sorry im only getting back to you now, we were in Italy at a wedding and just got back on sunday, poor betti was in the kennels while we were away, she is feeling very sorry for herself at the minute as she is in season so she has taken up residence on the sofa.

Wow- that is really a fantastic year for your Katie! Why don`t you show her yourself? And so good to hear your Scarlet coped so well with the OP. In Switzerland the vets say when there is one mammary tumour the whole site has to be removed- a huge OP. Because of Bonnie`s age and if I would agree to the risks that it is not medically correct they would just remove the three "breasts"- sorry for my bad English. After the emergency spay she was a time much better and enjoyed life a lot more, but a few days ago she started bleeding like in heat, so I think it must be something really cancerous...something I rather don`t want to know. She doesn`t seem in pain, but is a little bit sleepyand passive again..and in this state another OP is no option.Oh those dogs...Kind regards eva

Hi Karen, I know you show your setters, but do you know anyone in the area who trials them, I have been doing some reading up on how to train setters for field trials. She is from working background and she seems to have the instinct when she is out in the field, I think it would do her good. But I just need to know where to start.
