- About Me:
- First time pet owner. My girlfriend was raised w/ Irish Setters. Although we were looking at different breeds, her desire was obviously an Irish Setter. Guess what? We have an Irish Setter! He is the love of my life...although my girlfriend and I have parted, he remains with me. He has given me a reason to be hopeful while enduring difficult transitions along with a constant companion that is happy to see me at all times! Life is beautiful again; I've learned more from my puppy than he's probably learned from me...but I dont mind because he's a blessing that I had not anticipated but remain forever thankful.

"...how wonderful life is while your in the world..." when I listened to these words I saw Vito lying on the sofa, snoring and smacking while sleeping :-)

- Hi Malcolm - Welcome to the site. We have something in common - how we became Setter owners. I got 'child custody' of an ex-girlfriend's Setter when she moved out in 1994. Have had Setters ever since.
