I have had red and whites for 24 years. I used to hunt alot but now mainly just enjoy working the dogs as there is not alot of wild game in my area. I have bred FtCh Granaghburn Quail who was made up by Des Linton. I presently have Dalriach Deidre(03), Shannonbally Bracken Buster (02) ,Granaghburn Buckwheat Paddy(08)(Paddy)and Craigrua Rampant(08)(Ben) . Shannonbally Bracken Buster has went to Norway, Shannonbally Setanta(10)(Haley) and Rosie Jim(10)(Rosie). Just started to run in trials in 2011 with Paddy and Ben and both are now qualified for open stakes. Ben has achieved a 1st in an open stake and Paddy has been awarded 4th in an open stake. I hope to have Rosie ready for novice stakes in the spring of 2012.
I would just like to say a huge thank you for Granaghburns Wild Flower Lady (Lucy) she is such a young intelegent girl
she is very active and is doing very well with her training
her and Bruce our red setter get on great
they are like best friends they cant stand being away from each other
i love taking them out for long walks and training her all different things but its one thing at a time or she will get confused
i love your pictures
but i would just like to say a huge thank you for Lucy and she is a good puppy to have in the family and i hope to keep you upto date with her over these next years
the weather here is really bad too so i havent been able to get very many pictures of them in the countryside. If i do Lucy is all wet and muddy!. I will send you some pictures when the weather is alot better which will probebly be after christmas but nice to here from you too.
Hello Raymond, I think the lines behind Paddy is very interesting. Even though he's still young, how would you describe Paddy'e level of hunting desire compared to other irws you have had/trained/seen in the field?
Video of Ed Flannelly's Craigrua Oscor running in pointer and setter in Moycullen on the beautiful west coast of Ireland in Co Galway. I took this video while holding one of Ed Flannelly's other dogs so sorry for any jumps in quality.
