Having bred this beautiful breed, and recently lost Honey at the tender age of 8 and a half, I feel that part of me has gone. I also own a working sheepdog as well as one Irish so am quite active and enjoy dog training as well.
Hi I am new to the site, but mad about setters, I would have a house full if hubby would let me. Currently have 1 as had to have my 8 and half year old put down recently due to cancer, although to see her at the end she didn't act any differently, than normal.
Hi Susan, My oldest dog Ellie was 12yrs 8mths died on 26th april this year, and Orla the baby was born on the same day and is17weeks, Ruby is 8yrs7mths she was Ellie's pup. Sorry to hear your about your dog I thought I was short changed losing Ellie at her age, she had Cushing Disease
