Laura, I wasn´t thinking about all those tests..
If I lived in Holland I would have taked him home without hesitation!

Poor boy! Perhaps quarantine is the reason the owners prefer to leave him in Holland!! Quarantine could be too stressful at his age!! 6 months(not sure if that still applies for Canada) is a long time in a kennel!! But he will have a happy time in a new loving home;o))

I would take him home in an instant if he lived here in Oz. My girls would love him, but unfortunately he doesn't live here. I'm feeling so sad just reading all these posts and looking at Rileys beautiful face.
I am sure he will find a wonderful new home and a lovely family who will love him. After all, he still has a lot of years ahead of him and he deserves to live out his life as a happy & loved boy.

Have you found a home? Will you be able to keep him? would donations help with transportation costs? foster care? Where is he now, and where are the people abandoning him? Do you have Irish rescue in your area? So sad.

Tell the owners to bring the old boy back to Canada. I live in Kelowna BC - I will take him in a second. What would that cost for airfair. Give me some details on that. I just love him already.

How sad, what a lovely boy. Hope the home turns out well but if not can you get him to England, I know two people who will take him with pleasure to live with their other setters, please keep me informed. If we need cash perhaps I could ask Barbara Rogers irish setter rescue in England for help.

I finish school in a week and would be happy to come over to collect if all his jabs are upto date and he has a pet passport there is no question of quarantine then, do we need to sort out funding too i am sure Irish people in the UK would be helpful.
