3. place in Open class Field Trial (forest)

Saturday 28th september Tobbogan's Amazing Skadi got her first FCI FT-result. It was a 3rd placing on a forest trial (Open class).

This is the first Open Class FT-placing on forest trial for the IRWS in Norway (ever).

It is in the forest, but this trial has a more open forest than normal. If you click into Fiald trial results for IRWS we have posted a photo of the FT area. It is on Black grouse and The Eurasian Woodcock, Scolopax rusticola, a medium-small wader. Skadi found a Black grouse hen in her second run, only 2 meters from the gallery (other contestants and dogs), and flushed it right towards them :) Quite a special experience!

Comment by Thomas&Merete-Kennel Alvertoppen on October 1, 2008 at 4:02am: No unfortunatly we do not have a video from this trial. It was only Thomas and Skadi that went this time, I (Merete) was on a buisness trip that weekend so we could not film it... Hopefully we will get another chance :)
