Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Have you reflected over the dogwalks? For me it´s not only exorcise - it´s meditation! The dayly long walks are realy healing my soul.

Yesterday it was a typical hot summerday - and we are so lucky to have the seabreeze! I thought about how happy I am with my setters - they are all happy, healthy dogs between 1-11 years. And my dogs ARE my best friends - as they say " dogs are mans best friend"!

BUT THEN??? What´s next on the list?

For me, right now, on second place my dear, old lawn-mover! The thing is fantastic - what do we do without it? My dogs hate when the grass is too long and the ticks love high grass... I heard from Jean on Ireland that they got so heavy raining there so they couldn´t drive out on the lawn - too soft!!!

And also the vacuumcleaner - it surtenly makes life easier for a multi-dogowner! I realise that this sounds very materialistic - it seems that I value machines more than humans... But think about it! The machines gives you more time with your dogs, family and friends! It´s much nicer if your garden and home looks frech when your friends stop by.

Also... I am totally edicted to my cappuccinomaker!

A nice cup of cappuccino after a walk or with friends, is one of the best things in life! Have a nice day - take a dog-walk!

Oh Carina, you're so right! One of my best friends is my vacuum cleaner! At least I spend more time with it than my friends... :)
How many other things do I do each and every day? Not many.

I love walking my dogs also(it clears my head!) I have a small boarding kennel and so I walk other peoples dogs too! Rain or sun we walk every day and this year mostly in the rain!!!! But it makes the dogs coats so soft afterwards!

ok, you all are waaay too much "domestically friendly" for me. LOL!

I must admit that, because I have no carpets in the house, I do not own a traditional vacuum -but a shop vac. That thing has been known to suck up an occasional cat as well :D but it is so cumbersome that it looks like R2-D2. At least that is what I call him, and he lives in the middle of the dining room :))))
For the lawnmower solution - just get a cow :o) no way any lawnmower will get the grass cut so short
hehe
