Puppies do make the time flow bye and our "A" litter is already 4,5 months old. So it was about time one of them gets his first chance in the show ring. I was very happy to be able to show M'Eudail Ars today for his new owner Miss Ajda Slavec. This being a strangley obedient litter (somehow not the kind of setters I usually breed), he actually behaved throughout the whole thing - ran with all 4 on the ground, did not chew on his leash and managed to look good. I was very pleased he got a "very promising" from judge Mr Paul Stanton from Sweden with a more than flattering description and his comment "very very very promising baby". Ars really seemed to enjoy the whole thing and all the new friends he met, had a good sleep and in the afternoon again behaved well enough to get 3rd place in the Baby BIS. He carried his rosette out of the ring like his father and grandmother always do. On Monday he will start his obedience training in our club together with his brother and sister and some lovely Viszla, Gordon setter and German Pointer friends. More fun on the horizon.......

Thanks for the nice comments. Ars will concentrate on his obedience training and come back to the shows as a well educated dog in the spring.
Laura there was only 1 other Irish entered yesterday Summer Spell Red Nokomis. She got BOB of course. Today I did not go to the show because they have changed the judge to Paul Stanton. We decided it was not needed to hear again his opinion on Ars and was better he stayed home and rested as he has big day tomorrow on his first day of school.
