Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Hello Everybody out there on ES ! I wanted to introduce myself to all of you who haven't heard of me yet. I'm Captain Jack , the new boy in town.

On Friday morning around 10 o'clock 5 a-strange-language-talking people came over to our home in Veddigge. Me and my 4 brothers and my 2 sisters weren't that surprised. During the last weeks we've had been visited from time to time and of course noone could leave without having seen us. But this time it was different. A while later, after they'd been looking at me and my brothers, I got to go upstairs to my human Mummy and look who was waiting there for me : these 5 people. Again. Of course I enjoyed the attention. But why did they put me in this box ? And then they placed some sticks and toys and a blanket that smelled like Maja, my Mum, in there. Weird, weird, weird. Well they also didn't speak Swedish, so I knew they were kind of crazy. What I didn't knew back then was that the adventure just started. We drove to the airport and I didn't like the ride that much I have to tell you. But this blond girl and the Woman with the brown hair took good care of me. And then we got to this big, light building and everyone was looking at me and like "Oh how cute." and of course the 5 weirdos were excited about everything.. But then My Human Mummy who drove us to the airport left me with them at this big, light buidling. I didn't excatly knew what was going on but I trusted her and knew she would have never left me with someone who's not taking good care of me. So I relaxed a bit and fell asleep. A while later we went into a white metallbird where again everyone was looking at me. But you know, I got used to the attention and I didn't mind. So I slept again which was apparently really surprising and amazing to everyone. I guess the 5 weirdos have never seen someone as cool as me. ;)

In the evening we landed and I quickly realized we were somewhere else. There's been no wind. I also noticed that everyone talks like the 5 weirdos here..

At half past nine in the evening we arrived at a big, yellow house. At that point I didn't know this was going to be my new home. The 5 weirdos went inside with me and began to eat something while I was sniffling around in the corners of their rooms. And then all of a sudden 4 beautiful ladies came in. 3 setter girls (none of them over 2 years so they aren't to old for me) and one women who had been driving them here. She chatted with the 5 weirdos about "Lilly" and me and they didn't stop talking (of course there were 3 women and 2 men. No chance.) I let them talk in their stange language and got to meet the 3 girls. They were really nice and we had a great time. But then I got so tiiiiiiiiiiiired. So I just fell over and slept. In the morning I noticed 2 of 3 girls were gone, but at least one of them was here to play with me. She's called 'Lilly' and she says she's really happy that I'm here because she's been quite lonely recently. I like her a lot. She's pretty and she takes good care of me. It's good to have a friend here where everyone talks in a weird language.

I hope you enjoyed reading my report.
