- How many Irish Setters do you have?

- About Me:
- My name is Caroline and I live in Bavaria with my five Setters and my boy-friend Andi.
He has always had an Irish Setter and now I never want to be without them again.
Our first Irish Setter Jacky, that we both owned together, died of cancer at the age of 7. It was horrible. Although it was so hard to lose her we didn`t want to live without a Setter.
When we went to the breeder`s to take our Rocky with us we had remorse because of Jacky although she wasn`t there anymore.
Rocky is a lovely dog, he´s our pack`s good boy. One year later we got our Amy from the same kennel. The breeder promised to sell us the litter`s most beautiful bitch as we wanted to breed as well. It was true and she`s very succesfull on shows.
We bought a house that was also suitable for our dogs and in August 2007 we had our first litter.

Hallo,
mein Name ist Caroline und lebe mit meinen 5 Settern und meinem Freund Andi in Bayern. Ich bin über Andi auf den Setter gekommen, ihn begleitet schon sein ganzes Leben ein Irish Setter, jetzt möchte ich nicht mehr ohne sie sein. Unsere erste Setterhündin die wir gemeinsam hatten starb mit 7,6 Jahren an Krebs, es war schrecklich. Dennoch wollten wir nich ohne einen leben. Als wir dann zum Züchter fuhren um unseren Rocky abzuholen hatten wir ein sehr schlechtes gewissen Jacky gegenüber obwohl sie gar nicht mehr da war. Rocky ist ein lieber und er ist der Ruhepool bei uns im Rudel. Ein Jahr darauf holten wir uns von dem selben Züchter unsere Amy, er versprach uns, wir bekommen die schönste Hündin aus dem ganzen Wurf denn wir wollten Züchten. So war es dann auch Amy ist auf Shows sehr erfolgreich.
Wir kauften uns ein Haus das auch gut für die Hunde war und August 2007 hatten wir unseren ersten Wurf.
Ich werde weiterhin über uns und unsere Hunde hier berichten.

Laura Kolbach said… - hallo Caro, danke für dein kommentar. ja, meine mädels sind schon zwei hübsche (für mich jedenfalls, aber all den ergebnissen nach nicht nur meine meinung ;-)). am sonntag haben wir den monatlichen setterspaziergang mit dem setterklub. dann gibt es wieder neue fotos :-) hoffe, dass wetter macht mit, im moment sehr sehr kalt aber sonnig, aber schneestürme sind fürs wochenende angesagt... mal sehen, drück uns die daumen!

I always thought she had the head and I think also the coat of her father Fire and not from her mother Zinzi. But I saw Fire ones in Germany, so I wasn't sure... I see you have a brother of Fire and a litter bred by him. It's funny that you recognize Fire in Blossom! I think you also know the sister of Blossom, Bea (Be My Red Love of the Autumm Sun) which lives with Herr Didicher.
