"Lang may yer lum reek" is traditional Scottish saying, it literally means "Long may your chimney smoke", when you say it to someone you are wishing them health- a long life & wealth-enough money to afford coal for their fire tokeep their families warm. So lang may yer lum reek Jean! :-)
