Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

I represent to you my RUBY. (Gemstone Trawricka)

I’ve had an Irish setter before her, for 14 years.
HE was my master and I was his squire. *blush*
When his age tired him, I decided that my next dog will be, of course, an Irish setter.
Once when they addict you, you’re addicted ‘till the rest of your life.
…external beauty, silky hair, beautiful brown eyes, gentle dog, playful and rash character, eternal kid in soul, elegant long legs, light walk….the most beautiful dogs on the world.

One day, I’ve found out that this kennel has a brood of little setters. :)

But there was one small “mistake”. The dogs were in Belgium…1200km away from Ljubljana. But I’ve made my decision right after I saw this:

So we went on a long journey, with car, to get my little baby girl….little scoop.

This time I posted the upbringing of my dog very seriously.
So we went into a dog school. It took a little time though to teach her all.
But for me personally, the victory is, if my little red scoop of hair sits or lies on the floor, waiting for me in place - in spite of all distractions from environment.
I’m familiar with the long-growing-up-thing – mentally and physically – so I must say I’m actually satisfied with the upbringing and schooling.
But she can walk by my left side only if I have something delicious in my hand. (Ham…)

My Ruby came into a lovely, warm home.
With 6 women in it, including Ruby & one man. We live in a big house with a big garden. House is big enough for all of us and we’re having so much fun together.
I have 4 daughters, which are cuddling & kissing Ruby all the time. I don’t know what she thinks of that. ×]
I work at home, so I’m able to spend time with my Ruby even in the morning. Even my husband gets some of her warmth and love. She is sleeping with us in our bed.
All happy – all together.

I’m so happy. My Ruby is my baby girl, my friend.
I own the bitch for the first time and I am positively surprised. She seems more gentle than male dogs…at least from my experiences =]
I wish for her to become a mother one day so that I would experience what I’ve seen on-line when Ruby was a puppy.

Our “dog-lady” is very picky for food. Actually more “none-eating.” (Modern thin girl. Maybe she wishes for modeling carrier? )
Once she was on a dog show. She showed herself nicely, ran in circle and won a trophy.
And I think she also has her eyes on some “boy”. His name’s Mini. They’re getting along great for now. They’re playing “catching” games, eating “dog sweets” together, lying useless…. Naughty things are not in their heads. Yet.
So here I shortly introduced my Ruby. I’ll be writing here about her adventures, teasing and growing up.

How lovely Ruby still remembers Mini, since the last time they saw was two years ago.
