Old pictures of setters who belonged to my grandparents

Me too! I want to show you all pictures of setters that belonged to my "ancestors", my grandfather and my grandmother.

This Irish Red Setter was my grandmothers and the picture is taken the first of May 1940in Helsinki. Sadly I have not found his registration papers yet.

This english setter is from the old kennel Huntingfield which exists even today. Picture taken 1957

And this is my dear friend from my childhood. He is winning CACIB when this picture is taken 1975

Hey this 86 years reminds me of a visit in Denmark meeting a guy near to HUNDRED years old. His wish was: becoming a champion with a new youngster. Of course it failed but this ideal at such an age!!!! Keeps you young apparently, Irish setters...

As for a bucket of water, doesn't stop me:-))) For some reason I find most attractive (don't dare to say sexiest) photographs women-Irish setters. It is not a coincidence, that pictures of my first girlfriends still kept are those where they are accompanied by red setters!!! Send one????
