Riverwood 'Jour J' is born

[Charlotte Godart - Riverwood]

Yesterday evening at 22.30hours the first Riverwood puppy came into
this world. A little boy weighing in at 290gms, the smallest in the
litter. His name will be 'Riverwood Jour J' which means D Day in
english. This seems such an appropriate name for the circumstances.
Then followed 7 more boys, I even thought for a moment that Chickadee
was going to have, as with Jean and Rita Struyf 25years ago, a 'J'
litter of 9 boys only ! But number 9 was a girl, followed by 2 more boys, then another girl.
The pups and mum Chickadee are doing extremely well ! ! !

Oh Charlotte, youI got in tears! How could you be so patient and relaxed to wait him to come out and not pulling - you did it so well! Chikadee is fantastic, and Jour J seems to be small but strong puppy. I wish them all safe first days and weeks! Happy and healthy life!! Congratulations!!
