Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Well I must thank everyone for all their kind thoughts on Saffy and the forthcoming litter, well whoever got the raffle number of 15 is the winner of the competition. She didn't however have a normal birth, she ended up with a C-Section this afternoon, and 11 boys and 4 girls were born at 3.45 this afternoon.
Thank you all for the wonderful thoughts and it did make the time go quickly and for the wonderful joviality of everyone concerned.
We will post some pictures as soon as possible, and is there anyone out there that will volunteer for bottle duty????
Thanks again and watch this space......
Love to all Dee and the girls

All the best for Saffy and the babies. The red mummy is going to recover soon;the babies will have two mums so everything must go well!I had a litter of 16 so can imagine how the day and night routine is going on.
We all are so far away, otherwise having them in our hands with the bottle is a special feeling!

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful comments Saffy is starting to realise that she has babies, and is now becoming a really good mum. A little too attentive at times, but she is learning. Just a shame that they couldn't come into the world the natural way. Will keep everyone informed as to how they are growing...
Thanks again to all concerned, and it was a nice bit of light relief, that is what this site is all about, wonderful that everyone participated, and that there are so many like minded people in this world.........does anyone want a bottle to feed a puppy??? LOT'S going begging......;o)) Dee and the girls + 15
