We knew it was not going to be easy...
By the end of the day not many of the 57 dogs entered (HPR breeds and Setters & Pointers) left with an award.
Glen was given three good runs and worked hard, but finally we got cheated by a clever pheasant that first 'legged it' in the sugar beet and then flushed behind him... The wind kept changing direction, the ground was dry and hard going for dogs and handlers and the pheasants refused to stay put! Still, it was a great day out!
