SOME OF MY BELOVED BOOK COLLECTION - URSULA'S INCLUDED

Photographs showing the bookcase in the library, with some of my wonderful books, that all mean so much to me. Down in the bottom right section, are Ursula Wilby's two books, and I am sorry Ursula, but I see they are actually sitting rather close to some of the forensic books! This should be the dog section, but always one or two books end up put back in the wrong place, and then another tidy up happens! You will also see my skeleton in the photos - this we called "Budget Bart," because he is only four feet tall. However, once he was unpacked, we had to change the name to "Budget Bartesse," because on closer inspection, he was a she !!
Three quarters of the books shown here are non-fiction, ranging from dog books of all kinds to Africa and African animals, a forensic section, which I have been studying at Uni, Ethics, Otters, History, Literature and so on. Although I don't have any children, there is a huge section on children's books, either because they are beautiful books, and /or stories, but mainly because I have loved the illustrations. .
Our house is filled with books, including some rare and valuable Setter and Labrador books. One very special one is The Pointer and His Predecessors, by William Arkwright, published in 1902 and limited to 750 copies, mine being number 48.

Wow, I always thought (being a librarian ;)) I have a lot of books, but I´m impressed with your collection. Would certaily love to visit your library. There is a lack of good irish books where I come from, the only one I have is Irish setter by Margaret Williams.
Beautiful book shelf as well. You would need a new one or two. :))

You wouldn't get rid of me very easily if I came to visit, I love books. I have quite a few but the only one not in a bookshelf is the South of England Irish Setter book of Champions, that one is in a soft material bag just to protect it as I managed to get a like new one.

Funny you should mention cloning, Dee - if you cast your eye on Budget Bartesse's head, and run along the shelf to the right at roughly the same eye level, you will see the very book you desire!!!! Great minds think alike!!!
