Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
Thankyou to every one for your *Bon Voyages* and lovely thoughts and messages
We have done 10 days and love it, The girls took everything in their stride, and have settled very well
They are enjoying their new walks, chasing Parakeets,Seagulls etc,
We saw Flamingoes the other day on the salt lakes,so kept them on their flexi Leads
Every where we go the Spaniards stop us to admire the girls,we meet a lady regularly with 2 field Spaniels
I have found a butcher who will save me carcass, offal and trimmings ,, and chicken wings are available at the local Mercadonna...so that is my BIG worry sorted, they can stay on the Raw
The weather is lovely 75 + every day, I walk the girls early morning and they mooch about in the garden and the shady terrace most of the day, then we have another walk about 6 in the evening
I will keep in touch on here,Face Book etc, also my mobile no..is the same
Take care every one Sue,Frank and The Pennally s
Sounds like you are having a lovely time. I am glad the dogs are settled and can enjoy their normal meals.
Sound like you are all having a great time, the dogs enjoying it too (",)
Where were you in Spain Sue? I am dreaming of going in a warmer and sunnier country in my old days, my joints and bones can really do with it, but I am very concerned about my boys having to deal with the heat. I know there is plenty of IS in Spain so they can get used to the heat, but wonder how adaptable they are for a part-time move.
Hi Chantal ,yes it is still warm ,we are here for the winter initially,,,Hottest has been 31 so far,,,,,I walk them early in the morning about 07 30 ,during the day they tend to just wander round the gardem and lie in the shaded porch or the cool kitchen floor then we walk again about 6 pm they have settled very well ,we are in Southern Spain
Thanks Maggie,yep living the dream
