Hi Reni, Thankyou for your note. Not sure if I read it correctly though.
Did you say you were getting an ES puppy in 3 days???. Not sure if you are just looking after one or if it will be yours. Let me know. I'm very happy for you; and an English baby. Sooooo cute and cuddly.

Thanks Reni. This will give you a chance to get back into being a 'dog Mum' again. You will do a wonderful job, I'm sure.
Hope we see lots of photo's from your week with him. I looked on the ES group and saw him there. I remembered your friend had an English.

Yes, I do know about this Reni, or a little bit anyway. 'Dogs Victoria', which is where all the Victorian dogs are registered for showing, breeding, obedience, etc. is behind this 'Virtual Dog Show' to raise money for the Fire Victims, their families etc. Obviously it is not a real show, but I think you can enter your dogs name, age, whatever, and he/she will be in the catalogue. You pay a fee and all the proceeds go to help the dog people who have been touched in one way or another by these fires. Something like that anyway. I have only seen it on this site, but it does seem genuine and will probably raise quite a bit of money. From what I gather, it is also posted on many other dog sites.

Hi Ereni,
Thank you for your kind words....they leave such a big gap when they go...
I have still got 3 Irish with us, Peter who is 10 and a half and the 2 pups from my litter (they are 3 years old now) and I am planning a litter this Summer if everything goes to plan. Enjoy looking after Cairo! This is what my sister does(looks after friends' dogs)since she lost her Golden Retriever last Autumn....
Warmest regards,
Catherine

Hi Ereni a while since last message. Hope you are well unlike me who has just had a bout of Gastro Enteritis,.Luckily im coming good today. The weather for us has been bad we dont get used to loads of snow anymore. I used to love it as a child cars got stuck people didnt mind now its a full blown operation to get people to work and back though it when it happens. Our estate as roads uphill to get off and our street also is slightly raised so can be rather frustrating getting in and out of the drive to go uphill. The grit contractors dont do our street but they do a bus route though our estate so if you get out of our street not far to saftey you hope.
My dogs have loved the small amount we had but walking would have been difficult.Hope your brood is lively and thriving.

Hi Reni, Was just thinking about you this morning. Thanks for writing and for the beautiful 'snowy' photo. Hope you're taking pics. of Cairo. He does sound a sweetie. Girls are well. Megg had her yearly blood test last week and passed with flying colours. She had been a bit unwell, but is fine now. Just wanted her checked out thoroughly. My vet is pleased with her.
Love to you and Cairo. I'm sure he is keeping you on your toes.
Lynn & girls.

my camera is very bad compared to all these here on the site... i think that's why i stopped posting :-( the below photo was taken yesterday, we had a setterwalk with our setterclub, there were 13 setters participating, these are some of the irish setters - those that were obedient and knew sit-and-stay :-)) from left to right: Odin-Danka-Nero-Dorka

no, there were actually 6 that could sit (still not many, you are right, people are strange who don't teach their dogs), there is an english setter and gordon next to odin, but my friend took one pic of the "irish part" only as well. will try to post some photos tonight. until then you get two others: they belong to the guy i greeted with "velkám" on the gordonning, do you remember? :-)))

Hi Reni. I have just been looking through your new photo's of Cairo. My goodness, they're amazing. What a lovely, and happy boy he is. Looks as if he's enjoying his time with you very much.
All is well here. Both girls are good and Demi too. I've been babysitting Jo's greyhound Mary today. She likes coming here. She still seems sad without Bill though. It would be nice for Jo to think about another dog, but she can't seem to do it yet. Definately will though. Just may take a little time.
Enjoy the rest of your week with Cairo. Your photo's of him are wonderful.
Lynn & girls.

I am getting ready for Crufts with Peter in veteran dog? Are you making the journey to come and see our dogs?
