Great to see you here :) I sent a few replies to your email ages ago, but was never sure if you got them.
Such a terrible shame about poor Spencer. I'd love to see some photos of him, if you have any. Who's the young pup in your pics? Quite a little cutie!
Thanks for the comments about Fionn. He's just starting to come into his full maturity now, and we started 2009 in style with a class in group win at his first show :)
Hi Cheryl,
well my formally shy scared girl was throwing herself at everyone last night at the show, Wagging her tail and really happy. I would say the AI will happen on Wednesday.....that would make her due April Fool's Day...a good luck omen I think.
Cheers,
Carmel
Hi Cheryl,
Truly had her final AI this afternoon. The long weekend put us off and we were running against time...but thanks to the almighty dollar the semen was here. And very good and lots of it my vet says. Truly relaxed and happy and sleeping on the couch. Fingers and Toes crossed but her mother is a fertile girl so I am not worried.
Looking forward to babies.
Carmel
Thankyou for your comments, Cheryl.
All is well, and Lupin is bouncing and very well indeed.
I am soooo sorry, I still have not been in touch! Just don't know where the time goes either.
Keep up the good work in the showring. Sounds like you are having fun.

Good to hear from you :) Fionn is going well, thanks - he turned four on Saturday! Can't believe he's 4 already. We took him to a show at Kalamunda, but he was the only Irish entered. When the judge mouthed him, she paused and said, uncertainly, "Err...what's that?" Turned out he had a huge wad of bright green cotton (from a rope chew toy) wedged between his top teeth! Not a good look! I think we got some photos (of the show, not the cotton) so I'll post them up tonight when I get home.
Congrats on your results :) That's great! It's always lovely to win under someone "in the breed."
hi Cheryl, just took a look at your homepage and pedigrees and had to realize again, how small the world is. my oldie Odin is a granddaughter of caspians intrepid, while Danka is a halvsister to both Nome and Lupin at Myra's place. so you see, we are relatives :-)
Hi there Cheryl
Thank you for the kind thoughts, I am so sorry that you were so upset about my girl, strange thing to say, but I thank you for that, it just brings me to tears when I see her, straining to see something, she kind of sees things with her ears, it difficult to explain, I just wish that I could get people to understand how difficult it is to notice that a dog is loosing his/her sight. I have heard of people that have owned dogs that were completely blind and they didn't know that the dog couldn't see at all. Just thought that it was a bit stupid and took it too long to find its ball when they threw it for the dog. I have been told that in the scheme of thing this isn't bad and there are only 3 dogs that have been diagnosed with it. I just feel that I'm banging my head against a brick wall...I can't give up on her, but as people say, its not life threatening, so it doesn't really matter too much, and there are a lot of other things out there that are far worse...I know that she has also had bloat, so its not as though I am just trying to get this alone looked at, I want them all looked at...........got any suggestions???
And thank you so much for your kind thoughts.
It does get me down every now and then...I think that the third pedigree and dog will be publicised soon, I think that this may help
All the best

Seems like the US-type dogs took out the Sydney royal for Irish. Glad to see Terry entered, though :) I will have to send him some pics of 4-year old Fionni! I wish he would send pics back of Fionni's littermates. I've never seen how any of them turned out.
Still planning to breed, yes. Just waiting, waiting, waiting... I was hoping for a bitch from Yoda. Did you hear about what happened? :( So awful. I cried along with Wende when she told me on the phone. I hope they are doing okay. Do you ever hear from them?
