thanks Dee for the explanation. i have never seen such a "coat" here, maybe i can ask my mum to sew one. on the other hand, my oldie will be only shown one more last time at the European Dogshow in october, and the little one is as straight as it can get, unfortunately :-)
Thanks for your answer Dee!
Now I understand because it felt very strange because setters are not mean dogs.
Greetings, Kristina

Thank you for the kind comment about the WDS-Stockholm-illustrations! Hard work walking about trying to find "special" moments that will work with a short caption + be enough for two doublepage-spreads. I was VERY happy once they were done and posted (well that goes for all jobs I suppose...).

So nice that you have FINALLY got a "face"! Not the grey outline of a non-descript female/male! :-)

Hello! I am better than you . My dog sleeps on my bed and I sleep on his bed...:O)))
Many kisses to your tender beauties.Good luck for Saffy and her puppies! Please, let us know about that great event.
Greetings from Ereni and Gordon
Sorry I haven't replied earlier but sometimes I have to spend a lot of time translating my words to English ...
I hope Saffy will have better luck in near future, we will keep in touch with your website.
Gordon has his own 2m long mattresse in my flat, but he likes sleeping on my healthy bed because of his hips.
Many regards for you and your beauties.

Hi Dee, just been looking through your photo's. Love them, especially the 'book-end' one and the Xmas one's. I have a book-end pic. of my girls also. Will have to post it. Your Setters are gorgeous.

Oh yes dear Dee,don't even mention money by good uncomercial breeders.
There is love, knowledge, constant learning of those who know even something more, patience, time ,joy but often the tears as well.
The life without our reds would be very poor.Shows yes , a nice and expensive hobby for us,but not for them. They like to be cuddled ,loved and sure we stand behind them to give them the feelings of security-like good mums and children.
Thanks for your comment on my video. I find setters fun to train... once you get past the boring bits like heeling and staying, and get onto the fun stuff like retrieves and scent work!!
