Hello Dorothy, both of us carry the rare and same name. We bare the great passion for the Irishs for a long time. Not just on the basis of this cause I'd like to add you as a friend. Also I'm able now to congratulate. What a big success in 2008 on Crufts!
"L. Mickey Blue Eyes" is a raving beauty. Best regards from Germany, Angelika Park
I'm not sure if this message reached you before?!
Hi Dorothy,
Do you remember... a bit more than 5 years ago, you gave us this bundle of joy!!!
He is more handsome than ever, and the spoiled roten one of course, no one can resist him ...
have you ever had one of your setters using the phone??? Darwin loves to speak on the phone ....when he hears me saying some "magic" words such as his name, or David, he put his head on my shoulder, wants me to put the telephone near his ears, and then will start to sing ... the length of the song depends on his degree of attachment to the person ...
and some ignorant people are still asking or even worse, declaring that Irish Setters are stupid!!!!!
Dorothy, no pictures yet of your wonderful dogs, both Irish Setters and Gordon setters!!! not even handsome, gorgeous Mickey blue eyes!!!!! Too busy Lady we know, I was just looking for a picture of Darwin's father who I believe was one of your dog.
Have a very nice weekend
Chantal
Happy Birthday Dorothy!!!!! Hope someone will offer you a camera that we can see some pictures of your dogs ... :-) sorry Dorothy, couldn't resist to be cheeky :-)
Have a terrific Birthday celebration, especially with all your 4 legs friends
Delighted to hear that you have a lovely lady friend for Mickey. He'll be over the moon. Eugene & I rescued a lassie type collie (lovely boy) last week. He stayed overnight with us and thankfully we were able to trace the owner the next day. I came across a small rehoming centre in Co. Clare (Homeward Bound) and they have a male Irish red setter looking to be rehomed called Duke. He's also on the irishanimals.ie website under homes needed (click on setters). Maybe you could help? Thanks, Mary.
Hi Dorothy. No i think he is being re homed by his owners. If chantal didn't pass on the link let me know and ill send it to you. So happy you're taking the pup . He is beautiful !

It's great that they are both rehomed. I'll keep an eye out for anymore on the rehoming websites.
