Cash is in the throws of teething and here are a few things I have noticed and had wondered if you see the same thing in your dogs.

Less chewing, food, bones or toys.  I heard they should be chewing more but he isn't.  He has stopped chewing on his bones and isn't chewing his food the same way if at all.  He is missing meals too.  He takes the food and then drops it all over the floor.  Two of his teeth flew at me the other night while we played tug a way.  He also threw up that same night and then in the morning had an empty tummy and threw up some foamy bile.  He then seemed fine by lunch and did eat as normal.  But again reluctant to chew the food.  I should say he was a good little chewer up to this point.  We did have this crazy record breaking heat wave for this time of year and it just hit 84 the past couple days and he is HOT.  He had no clue what warm weather was since he is a winter baby.  He is miserable actually.  Wants to run and play outside or in and then give it up after about 20 minutes, panting and guzzling water.  I am so hot so I know how he feels!  Too early for this heat.  Did you notice your dogs in discomfort with teething?  Chewing more?  I know Dublin just breezed through it.  I see bleeding on his dog friends so I know it's from him.  Hopefully it will be over soon!

Thanks ladies, he just threw up a little bile again this morning. I am confused if he needs to see the vet or is this teething related also? Or he is it 12 hours without food overnight? I know some need a late snack so they aren't empty all night.
Just bringing up bile mornings can be caused by having an empty stomach for too many hours. My Mum has an Irish Setter from the first litter I bred (12 and a half years old now) and he has to have just a few dry biscuits last thing at night and that tieds him over until breakfast time but otherwise he will bring up bile each morning. He has always otherwise seemed well and healthy
Yes Angela my last setter was like that and the breeder thought that might be it. He did have dinner very early yesterday and breakfast was an hour later than normal since I was off work today.
