Hi Sharyn,
Seeing you live in New Zealand how did you come about knowing and seeing "Paige?" My British hubby has an aunt and uncle who immigrated to New Zealand about 9 years ago and is is one plce I dream about visiting one day!
I see you have two Irish. Did you breed them? Would be interested to hear about their pedigrees.I also read that you have been involved with this lovely Breed for 25 years. Like you they have been part of my life now for over 45 years. My Dad bred them for the gun back in the 50's/60's. So I grew up with them, first husband tried but never succeeded, my two children were graced with one for 12 years and my second hubby is devoted to them. I presently have 8 Irish and 1 very senior English Pointer.
Have you checked out the few photos on my page? "Lance" Ch. Kerrsienna Once In A Lifetime is "Paige's" litter brother.I also have "Liberty" who is only 1 small major away from her USA title. When I had to choose between "Liberty" and "Paige" for Pat the deciding factor was "Liberty" has a colic on the back of her neck and knew Pat would not be able to cope with the grooming aspect of this colic. But also know that if "Liberty" was sent she too would also have done very well in the UK.
So what is like to show in New Zealand?
Would love to continue to hear from you and hopefully we can keep in touch. Here is my email address: kerrsienna@comcast.net
Kind Regards,
Rosemary & The Kerrsienna Clan of Irish Setters
PS: I see Pam Wink has emailed you. Pam lives very close to me. She recently lost her girl and I let her know that she could always call me if she ever need to talk.
Hi Rosemary...for the life of me I cannot remember how I first came to see Paige...must has seen a picture/ or results of her when she was a youngster, liked her then and followed her "show career" with interest....I bred the girls and the boy I imported...lines run riot with wendover.
Where do your husbands relations live...North or South Island?
Hi Sharyn, I'm glad you like the pics and I've enjoyed looking at your slideshow just now. Lovely dogs having great times! I bet they're just loving the snow. My little Bridget has grown apace since I was last on the website, and Maeve is quite the grown up lady at 2 and a half, so I must update the pictures soon. We were at an open show on Sunday and Dee Rance was talking about the exclusively site and how adictive it is. I thought I would check in again and now I'm re-hooked. Dee's fault! Thank you again. Ruth
Thanks for making me your friend. I am glad you like my Irish Setter, at the moment I have only one boy from the Porto Rio Breeder. Congratulations for your greats dogs.
Greetings, Sharyn, from rainy Sweden.
The World Show was most enjoyable, with Camilla doing very well indeed. I even ended up in the main ring, helping to show - felt like "Cookie" in the spotlight in "Best in Show." Great fun!
Love and Hugs.

Yoo Hoo!
Leave for home on Monday afternoon, after having had a wonderful time here. In some ways it has gone very quickly, but also seems a lifetime since I was home.
Hope all is well with you.
Talk to you next week.

Wish you all the best!

Thank you for your comment about the puppies. It´s really hard to count how many puppies there are in the basket. But It think it should be 13! Loved your photo with Santa and the setter! All the best Jenny
i am always blown away at how much your irish setters, especially the ones i have seen here, look so much like my "max"........i love these guy / girls they're the bestest pups in the world.
Hi Sharyn, Love your photo's, especially the one's with Santa. Your dogs are very well behaved. Where in NZ is Woodend? I have relatives in New Plymouth. We live in Melbourne. I have two Setters, one Irish & one English.
hello sharyn i have just joined the site i live in england but one of my daughters in law comes from new zealand are there many irish out there loved your photos hope to hear from you
Oh - that's so an understatement! Not sure if either of us will survive until she learns to settle down. Your pooches are cute and one of them has the same lip curl Fiona does!
Thank you for your Christmas message Sharyn. Maeve, Bridget and I send good wishes back to you and your redheads for a happy Christmas and a great 2009.
Hi Sharyn
Many thanks for your kind comments, having at firs tbeen not really sure of where i wanted to go with my breeding programme I am now more confident of what I want to achieve with the help and advice of some well respected friends and am excited about the future. what is the show scene like at your end of the world.
Hi Sharyn,do you know a NZ judge called Mr. C. Walker. He is judging here in April.
Truly has been AI'd and ultrasound on the 25th....fingers crossed.
Thanks,
Carmel
Hi Sharyn, Peter tells me he knows Woodend well, he used to play darts at the tavern there. Do you follow the cricket. Peter is pleased rain stopped play today, as a draw would be good for NZ - good for the Aussies too considering how they have been going!!!! Carmel tells me Finnegan is Seamus's uncle, small world. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Cheers Jacky xx
Hi Sharyn. Peter has been here for 8 years I think it is, but he always goes for the anything NZ and especially the All Blacks! He reckons he's only here for the weather! Have a great week - Cheers Jacky
Hi Sharyn,
I see you are online at the moment. Truly is 5weeks and 2days in whelp. Very big and not eating much and just lying around. Starting to worry me a bit.
Carmel
Hi Sharyn,

HI Sharyn
Thanks for your comment - apologies for not having responded until now - rather hectic here at the moment. You have some stunning pictures on your page!
Good luck!

Hi Sharyn. I have been through two bouts of HOD with my puppy, Meghan, and have had little time to go online.
I taught all my dogs to retrieve by using an ear pinch. In other words a forced retrieve. Once they know they have no choice about picking up the dumbbell, the love to retrieve it.
Pam
Sharyn,
Try putting him on a Flexi. Make it a game with treats as a reward for giving the item back. You can also play fetch with two items. Whan he picks up one, taunt him with the other.
Pam
Following Rosie's (pictured with dumbbell) early retirement, we went on to get all our AKC Rally titles, and had great fun with it. Rosie loved Rally, and it was less stressful than regular obedience classes. Enjoy!
Pam
Thanks Sharyn, it wasn't meant to be an action shot. I was trying to take a head shot, but he decided to leap at the camera!! He's such a cheeky boy. I see from your pics that Clancy and your boy Fin are related! Clancy's grand-dad is Nome.
